GCA encourages energy efficiency across all town activities and properties through: 

  • supporting funding of solar installations on all appropriate town properties to save the town money and reduce our carbon footprint

  • performing updated energy audits 

  • advocating for the installation of microgrids as backup power source during severe storm events

  • opposing the building of the fracked-gas Killingly power plant.
